Who we are
OLC started as a dream to help children with disabilities and their families. OLC operated out of my home in Southampton County for the first year, but we are now located in Franklin, Virginia. Our new location includes a sensory gym room, educational room, and an office space for intake and consultation with families and businesses. OLC is an all inclusive non-profit with goals of not only providing services to children with disabilities and their families but also to the local communities by providing guidance, support, and training around inclusiveness for all and what that would look like for their business.
Our Mission
OLC’s mission is to provide services and assistance for people with disabilities and their families who, because of the location of Southampton County and Franklin City, have limited access to needed services. OLC strives to provide support, services, and events that will enhance the lives of people with disabilities and their families! OLC focuses on advocating for disability acceptance, reducing barriers for needed services, improving community-based services, and providing affordable services here in the local community.
